Congressman Lewis shares trove of civil rights history

The Rachel Maddow Show was fortunate this week to have had a lot of exclusive access to Congressman John Lewis, talking about his new, bestselling graphic novel, the first in a series called “March.” In addition to appearing on the show with his collaborators (video below), he recorded an extra passage exclusively for us (video above.)

Civil rights history illustrated in new book

Congressman John Lewis and his co-authors of the bestselling graphic novel “March” talk with Rachel Maddow about telling the story of the civil rights movement.

On top of that, Rachel interviewed Rep. Lewis for a full hour for the Kentucky Author Forum and this week Kentucky Educational Television aired that interview and made it available online:

Also, by way of update, we also learned that the Martin Luther King, Jr. comic book that was so inspirational to the civil rights revolution will soon be translated to Arabic and Farsi and will also be bundled with the digital version of March: Book One.
