'Dear White People' sends up the Obama era

The first election of Barack Obama ushered in a rash of premature declarations about the dawn of a post-racial America. But by the time the oath of office was taken it became apparent to many African-Americans that his presidency had given some white people a new conduit to express deep-seated prejudices they had previously only dared utter in private.
