31-year-old Marissa Alexander was sentenced to 20 years in prison after firing a warning shot during a domestic incident with her abusive husband. Alexander’s lawyers tried to use the “Stand Your Ground” law in her defense, but a judge said he didn’t think the case met the standards of the law. Rep. Corrine Brown, D-Fl., reacts to the case.
