North Carolina votes to ban marriage equality, again

Voters in North Carolina are deciding if their state should be the thirty-first to have a Constitutional ban on marriage equality. Groups on both sides have spent a lot of money on an issue that would hurt civil unions and domestic partnerships for straight couples as well as gay couples. Gov. Bev Perdue joins Rev. Al Sharpton to discuss why she’s fought against the amendment.
