What’s coming your way tonight on PoliticsNation

The Chris Christie saga intensifies. The U.S. Attorney for New Jersey has issued subpoenas to key aides of Gov. Christie and documents relating to lane closures as far back to 2010 have been requested. Bridget Kelly, Christie's former Deputy Chief of Staff, David Wildstein, a George Washington Bridge official, Bill Baroni, Wildstein's boss, the New Jersey Republican Committee, and the "Christie for Governor" re-election campaign are included. Legal Analyst Kendall Coffey and NBC Investigative Correspondent Michael Isikoff join us to discuss what options Christie and his aides have. How long will this process plague the Christie administration?

Also, new polling shows that Americans overwhelmingly want inequality reduced, 82% of America to be exact. This has been a central focus of President Obama's second term and will be the focus of Tuesday night's State of the Union Address to the Nation. Missouri Rep. Emanuel Cleaver joins us to talk about the income inequality in America and the differences in how the parties discuss the issue.

The second half of the show kicks off with the RNC's Winter Meeting. Today we learned Congresswoman Cathy McMorris-Rodgers, the highest ranking woman in the GOP, will deliver the Republican response to the State of the Union. But the value of that nod to female voters could easily be lost thanks to Mike Huckabee's latest comments. Tune in to find out what he said. Former aide to John Kerry and President Obama, Mark Hannah, alongside MSNBC Contributor, Angela Rye, jois us to discuss.

And we'll also return to "the Justice Files" with three big criminal justice stories from across the country. We'll have the latest developments in the shooting death of football player Jonathan Ferrell, the text message shooting death of an unarmed man by a former police officer, and Justin Bieber's early morning DUI arrest. Lots to talk about with legal analyst Faith Jenkins and Crimal Lawyer Darren Kavinoky.

Finally, today we celebrate "Advancing the Dream" with the 50th Anniversary of the 24th Amendment that did away from the poll tax that for years discriminated against minority voters, making it harder and more challenging to vote. But without poll taxes today what do the Voter ID laws tell us about about America?
