A friendly bet between lawmakers

Rev. Sharpton talks to two congressmen rooting for opposing teams this Super Bowl. Find out what Rep. Jim McDermott and Rep. Michael Capuano bet on for this year’s Super Bowl.

On Friday, Rep. Jim McDermott (D-WA) and Rep. Michael Capuano (D-MA) were on “Politics Nation with Rev. Al Sharpton” and made a friendly wager over Super Bowl XLIX. The terms were simple:

If the Seattle Seahawks won, Rep. Capuano promised to send Rep. McDermott local chocolate, seafood chowder and Sam Adams beer. If the Patriots won, Rep. Capuano would get Pike Place Market salmon, Theo chocolate and Hilliard beer. Now that the Patriots are world champions, it’s time to settle this little wager. Rep.
