While the next game loads, play Platy-Hop. Click on a flower in the bottom to start the game. When the flower turns white, try to play back the sequence as more and more flowers are added. Green flowers mean you're right, red flowers mean you guessed incorrectly.

To play Phonic Match, your computer must be able to play sounds. Get started by clicking on the cards and try to match the sounds. Once you match the sounds, the card will disappear. The object of the game is to have all of the sounds matched before Platy reaches his chair. After you have mastered each level, more tiles will be added to the game.

About the Games:

Platy Hop is a small Shockwave game that exercises auditory short-term memory and sequencing.  Platy Hop can be played while the Phonic Match Demo is automatically downloaded.

This version of Phonic Match illustrates the basic interactions that require the player to listen and match identical sounds. forward The actual training exercise, like all of the seven Fast ForWord training exercises, uses patent pending technology. In Fast ForWord, speech is modified providing clarified training signals that are then adaptively altered as the child progresses.

What is the Fast ForWord TM training program?

Using the innovative new Fast ForWord TM training program, 4-12 year old children with language-learning impairments have averaged skill improvements in just 6 to 8 weeks that traditionally take several years or more using previously available methods.

This breakthrough program was developed through extensive field testing with more than 500 children with language-learning impairments with the help of 60 independent speech and language professionals at 35 sites, including private clinics, private and public schools, in the U.S. and Canada

Available now through certified speech and language professionals, the program uses colorful, animated multimedia exercises to train the portions of the brain responsible for speech recognition and processing. Use of the latest Internet techologies has allowed the professionals to monitor, in detail, the progress of each child.
