 Today the House is expected to vote on the payroll tax/unemployment insurance/Keystone pipeline bill this afternoon. While there is little chance of passage in the Senate, some important pieces of legislation are up for discussion.Right now, the jobless can receive up to 73 weeks of federal extended unemployment benefits, once their state checks, which last up to 26 weeks, run out. And if Congress fails to extend benefits, more than 5 million people will stop getting checks.What do you think? read more
