We’re off to the races…literally.
The Kentucky Derby is this Saturday, which also marks the official kickoff of the President’s re-election campaign (oh, and it’s also Cinco de Mayo). The rollout of the campaign will take place at events in Ohio and Virginia, states the campaign considers must-wins and which the President carried in 2008 after having previously swung to the Republicans.
In the latest poll of Virginia voters by the Washington Post, President Obama leads Mitt Romney 51 to 44, which with a margin of error of 4%, indicates a very close contest.
