NOW is back!

It may seem like a lot more than 2 weeks since we were last on the air - but the entire team is back and we're excited to get to work. The big news of day remains, of course, Governor Romney's selection of Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan as his running mate. President Obama acknowledged Ryan's pick publicly Sunday, saying he welcomed Ryan to the race and that he was a decent family man. The President also described Ryan as the "ideological leader of Republicans in Congress" - a nod toward the polarization between the parties and likely a recurring theme that Democrats will employ in the campaign.

This morning on the show, we'll look at what Ryan brings to the ticket, the liability that Ryan's budget presents, and the new shape of the Presidential race. We'll see you at noon ET - finally - on NOW!
