NOW Today: Fair game for the campaign?

President Obama is getting more heavy criticism this morning from the right, accused of politicizing the killing of Osama Bin Laden for political gain.

President Obama is getting more heavy criticism this morning from the right, accused of politicizing the killing of Osama Bin Laden for political gain.  In recent days bin Laden's killing has been at the forefront of the Obama messaging campaigning (including a high-profile interview granted to NBC from inside the Situation Room).  But Republicans - from Speaker Boehner to Mitt Romney's chief advisers - say it's a disgraceful move that uses the painful memory of 9/11 in vain, a 'desperation' move by the President to avoid talking about the issue that he hasn't handled nearly as well, the economy.

This morning, we'll take a look at the arguments on both sides, talking with a former CIA officer about how the world has changed since bin Laden's killing and the current state of America's national security.

Meanwhile, let us know what you think - is it fair game to campaign on a killing?  We'll be looking for your comments on Twitter, Facebook, and right here on the blog.
