Are Republicans coming around on gay marriage? As they hold firm on spending cuts and tax increases, some conservatives appear to be evolving on social issues. Over 100 high-profile Republicans have signed a brief supporting gay couples to legally wed. One of the signers is Nicolle Wallace, who says she’s never seen any issue move this quickly among her party before. The former White House Communications Director under President George W. Bush joins the panel today to discuss it.

Adding to the momentum, President Obama formally put his weight behind the issue last week, asking the Court to strike down Proposition 8, California’s same-sex marriage ban. Even Clint “the chair” Eastwood has joined the cause.

Will there be a fight within the party? How strong is the opposition? Dick Cheney and former First Lady Laura Bush are two big names who have not signed on their support. We’ll discuss that and more today at 12p ET.
