If this doesn't say winning... after placing some important calls to Congressional leaders, President Obama took that winning swagger Christmas shopping. Who knew his family were fans of the Wii!
Letting Republicans in the House and the Senate sweat it out over the payroll tax cut standoff, President Obama brought the issue to the people, yesterday asking Americans what $40 means to them. And today, he's expected to meet with some of these people personally. Last night, Obama tweeted:
"Everyone should see what #40dollars means to folks: groceries, daycare, gas, copays. Keep it going. I'll talk abt this tmrw @ 12:15ET. –bo"
And wherever he is at 12:15 today, that's where you'll see us. Tune in at Noon for "Now!"
