“Another campaign for sale.”
That’s how this morning’s New York Times editorial page put it after President Obama’s re-election campaign announced it will encourage donations to super PACs. Saying “the announcement fully implicates the president, his campaign and his administration in the pollution of the political system.”
After months of slamming the Supreme Court decision that allowed the unlimited money, we thought this might put the Democrats in an uncomfortable position.
Bill Burton, who runs the Obama super pac, Priorities USA Action, said “not particularly.”
What do you think? Should his campaign have endorsed these outside fundraisers?
