On the eve of Labor Day, host Melissa Harris-Perry and guests will discuss the American workforce.

First, who built this nation? We’ll look at how the US economy has benefited from immigrant labor and could benefit from comprehensive immigration reform. Then, we’ll go to Tucson to speak to Rev. Alison Harrington, pastor of Southside Presbyterian Church, to discuss their latest sanctuary case.

Are all bets off on Atlantic City? We’ll see what our panelists, Michael Pollock, Managing Director of Spectrum Gaming Group, Carmen Rita Wong, Assistant Industry Professor at NYU Poly Tech, Dorian Warren, Associate Professor of Political Science and International Public Affairs at Columbia University, and msnbc reporter Ned Resnikoff have to say about the Atlantic City casino closures and the impact of such on the local economy.

And finally, are you excited about football season? We are! But has the NFL gone too far with its new domestic violence punishments? We’ll discuss the policy change, and Michael Sam, the first openly gay NFL draftee, not making the Rams’ cut.

We'll also speak to a panel of experts about the worsening Ebola epidemic in western Africa.

Be sure to read what we’ve linked above, and watch Melissa Harris-Perry Saturday at 10am ET on msnbc! Also, don’t forget to join us on Facebook and Twitter with the hashtag #nerdland.
