Congress examines Supreme Court’s decision on the Voting Rights Act
The Senate Judiciary Committee is holding a hearing examining how to restore protections of the Voting Rights Act. It’s the first action Congress has taken towards the act since the Supreme Court struck down Section 4 of it last month.
