House Speaker John Boehner, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell host Congressional Gold Medal ceremony to posthumously honor Raoul Wallenberg for his heroism during the Holocaust. Medal is the highest civilian award Congress can bestow, and recognizes the Swedish diplomat for saving the lives of nearly 100,000 Hungarian Jews.July 9, 2014
