Trump’s Canada and Mexico trade strategy may hurt U.S. jobs


President Trump tweeted that there is no need to keep Canada in a new NAFTA deal with Mexico. CNBC’s Ron Insana says 8 million U.S. jobs depend on trade with Canada and that “it’s very hard to understand” why President Trump is reluctant to make a deal with them. Washington Post correspondent Heather Long says Trump’s trade battles are politically risky as Michigan and Ohio have many jobs dependent on trade with Canada.
