Brown vs. Board ruling signaled 'progress'

During an address to the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, Attorney General Eric Holder thanked the “pioneers” in the room because the Brown vs. Board of Education ruling allowed his generation to “grow up knowing separate but equal was no longer the law of the land. “  Holder also promised that as long as he remains Attorney General he will  “never stop working to expand the promise of a nation where everyone has the same opportunity to grow, to contribute and ultimately to succeed.”May.16.2014
