Speakers include AOL co-founder Steve Case; General Electric CEO Jeff Immelt; and Joe and Mika, who will discuss the upcoming midterm elections and the country’s appetite for business. Tune in here to watch live beginning at 8:30am ET, and join the conversation using #MightyMiddle.

One likely topic of conversation at this year’s summit: The U.S. unemployment rate, which fell to 5.9% in September – the lowest level since July 2008.

There are nearly 200,000 “middle market” companies in the United States – companies with $10 million to $1 billion in annual revenue. According to the National Center for the Middle Market, these mid-sized companies employ over 44 million people.

Past conferences have included luminaries like Warren Buffett, seen below with GE CEO Jeff Immelt.
