1. Sen. Barbara Boxer

Whew! After being grilled for more than 10 hours by the GOP-led Benghazi special committee, Republicans and Democrats had a lot to say about how Hillary Clinton defended her response to the attack of a U.S. consulate in Libya  during her time as secretary of state.  

2. Nancy Pelosi

Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi praised Vice President Joe Biden's dedication to public office after he announced he would not jump in the 2016 race after months of speculation. 

3. Arianna Huffington

Huffington Post Chief Editor Arianna Huffington praised Paul Ryan for standing his ground on his stipulations to keep his personal family time a priority now that he's thrown his hat into the House Speaker race. 

4. Patty Murray

Sen. Patty Murray pointed out the widening gender pay gap. According to data the Labor Department, this is the third straight quarter men have outpaced women’s earnings. I guess Doc Brown’s predictions of Oct. 21st, 2015 during the 1989 film “Back to the Future Part II” did not address today's narrow economic expansion. 

5. Elise Stefanik

Republican congresswoman Elise Stefanik accused President Barack Obama’s of playing “politics” after he vetoed the Nation Defense Authorization Act during a face-off with Congress over broader spending levels. 

6. Lois Frankel

Lois Frankel called for more “common-sense solutions” to gun regulations after the heart-rending shooting of a South Carolina woman shot by her grandson

7. Valerie Jarrett

#POTUS senior advisor Valerie Jarrett joined the conversation on #CriminalJusticeReform during President Obama’s discussion with law enforcement leaders on Thursday.

 

8. Hillary Clinton

Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton posted a video of some unlikely compliments from Republicans and other GOP presidential candidates like Carly Fiorina and Donald Trump. 

9. Elizabeth Warren

Sen. Elizabeth Warren accused GOP lawmakers of pushing a hidden agenda to attract Democratic support to change the structure of leadership for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in a recent blog post. 

10. Yvette D. Clarke

Rep. Yvette D. Clarke questioned the need for the Texas Inspector General to lead a raid on Planned Parenthood (PPH) facilities. This inspection comes as Texas officials, along with Arkansas and Louisiana officials, question the need to provide funding to PPH health centers after controversial videos were released.
