With just over a month until the Affordable Care Act reaches a major milestone, as the law’s insurance exchanges are rolled out, the battle over the law is heating up again. Both sides are bringing out their biggest stars.

Supporters will get help from Bill Clinton, who will resume his role as “Secretary of Explaining Stuff” next week at his presidential library in Arkansas, where he will give a major policy speech covering the Affordable Care Act and the changes ahead.

White House Senior Adviser Daniel Pfeiffer tweeted about the announcement.

Meanwhile, Sarah Palin has lent her signature and voice to the Senate Conservative Fund’s campaign to see Obamacare defunded.

“Forced enrollment in Obama’s ‘Unaffordable Care Act’ is weeks away,” she said in a statement. “This beast must be stopped — by not funding it.”

Killing Obamacare is a priority for a small but very vocal segment of the GOP. Sen. Tom Coburn of Oklahoma has warned the issue will “destroy the Republican party.”

While the law typically gets tepid support in polling, a Kaiser Health tracking poll released Wednesday shows that 57% of Americans oppose defunding Obamacare. And Palin herself may not bring much to the debate. The latest polling (taken this July by Gallup) shows her approval rating at just 35%, while Clinton enjoys an approval rating of 71%, according to the latest survey (taken in April by Fox News).

Who do you think will have a greater impact on the debate?
