President Obama shares his summer playlist

President Obama made headlines when he famously slid into a smooth version of Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together” at a New York City fundraiser in 2012. So it’s no surprise that POTUS compiled a solid summer playlist jam-packed with old school tunes and soulful melodies.

The White House on Friday released daytime and evening playlists crafted by Obama on the music streaming service Spotify.

What’s piping through the president’s headphones while he’s on vacation? Everything from The Temptations “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg” to Nina Simone’s sultry melody “Feeling Good.” Obama and his family are vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard this week and it’s no wonder the president needs two playlists: His schedule has been occupied by golf, dinner, golf, a day at the beach, and more golf.
