Obama, Biden to attend funeral of slain pastor

President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will to travel to Charleston, South Carolina, Friday to attend the funeral service of Rev. Clementa Pinckney, the pastor who was killed in the shooting massacre last week at Mother Emanuel AME Church.

Obama will deliver the eulogy, according to a White House official. First lady Michelle Obama will also attend the funeral.

Nine people were killed last Wednesday when a gunman entered the historically black church in Charleston and opened fire on a Bible study and prayer group. Authorities have charged 21-year-old Dylann Storm Roof with nine counts of murder in the shooting massacre.
