MSNBC and Vox Media’s Recode are proud to announce a new conversation series bringing together leading thinkers across technology, business and politics.
The new series, airing on MSNBC, with additional coverage on MSNBC.com, NBCNews.com, Recode and The Verge, will feature town hall-style conversations with a live audience examining the impact of technology on business, politics, health, jobs, culture, and more. MSNBC and Recode will curate interviews and panel discussions with a range of thought leaders from corporate executives, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists to journalists, government officials and academics.
The first event will feature Google CEO Sundar Pichai and YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki and will be co-hosted by Recode’s Kara Swisher and MSNBC’s Ari Melber. From artificial intelligence to robotics and automation, they’ll examine the challenges and successes of tech’s disruption of the workplace, and what it means for the future of the country.
The event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, CA on January 19th at 12pm PT and will air on MSNBC on the same date at 10pm ET.
Even if you can’t join the town hall in person, MSNBC wants to include your questions for Pichai and Wojcicki. Send them on Twitter using #MSNBCRecode, and you may hear yours asked live.
Will we see you there? Free tickets can be reserved at www.msnbc-town-hall.eventbrite.com.
