Just in time for the start of the school year and only days after the ACLU questioned a Louisiana school's policy of forcing pregnant female students into home-schooling, the charter school has said it will revise its policy, the Associated Press reported.

The board chairman of the K-12 Delhi Charter School told the AP that no one at the school realized the 6-year-old policy might violate Title IX, which guarantees equal access to education for both genders.

However, exactly how the school plans to revise its policy and whether or not it will throw out mandated pregnancy testing and home schooling provision are not yet known.

School begins at Delhi Charter Aug. 15.
