Khloé Kardashian thanks Lamar Odom's supporters for 'endless prayers'

"This past week has been incredibly difficult," Kardashian posted on her website in her first public statement since the former NBA star was hospitalized.

Khloé Kardashian on Tuesday thanked supporters of her estranged husband Lamar Odom for their "endless prayers."

"This past week has been incredibly difficult," Kardashian posted on her website in her first public statement since the former NBA star was hospitalized.

"You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure."

Kardashian also thanked the doctors and nurses at Sunrise Hospital, where Odom was taken after being found unresponsive at a Las Vegas brothel. "Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made," she said.

Odom had multiple drugs in his system when he was found unconscious at Love Ranch following a multi-day, $75,000 party with two women. He regained consciousness on Friday and was able to speak to Khloe Kardashian, who had stayed close to his bedside, sources told E! News.

Sources close to him told E! on Monday that he would soon be transferred to a Los Angeles hospital to continue treatment.

Odom and Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013, but the two are still legally married.
