"Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling on Tuesday criticized GOP front-runner Donald Trump on Tuesday in terms the series' fans would understand.

After people on Twitter started comparing Trump to Lord Voldemort, the antagonist in Rowling’s "Harry Potter" series, the author tweeted, “How horrible. Voldemort was nowhere near as bad.”

The comparison between Trump and Voldemort began after the candidate said all Muslims should be banned from entering the United States.

Some of the tweets suggested that people should stop saying Trump's name and refer to him as He Who Should Not Be Named, the well-known code name for Voldemort in the books.

Others have even suggested that Trump has Horcruxes, the fictional objects used by Voldemort to hold parts of his soul with the purpose of gaining immortality.
