Some of Caitlyn Jenner's biggest transgender concerns have nothing to do with her own recent transition.
As she reveals in a new clip from her upcoming eight-part docuseries, "I Am Cait," Jenner fears for others facing a complicated personal journey.
"I feel bad that these [people] — especially young people — are going through such a difficult time in their life," she says in a sneak peek that debuted on TODAY Thursday morning. "We don't want people dying over this. We don't want people murdered over this stuff."
Jenner, who recently accepted the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage at the ESPYs, voices these concerns directly to the camera in the early hours of the morning.
"What a responsibility I have toward this community," she adds, offering a glimpse into what's keeping her awake. "Am I going to do everything right? Am I going to say the right things? Do I project the right image? My mind's just spinning with thoughts."
While no one can be expected to be perfect, the former Olympian simply says, "I just hope I get it right."
