The first Democratic presidential debate is nearly upon us. Test your knowledge of the Democrats taking the stage on Tuesday night with this quiz. You might learn something new about the nation's next president.

However this candidate is critical of any comparison to the fictional character, telling MSNBC in 2009: “I’m the antidote to 'The Wire'.”

All four members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers also announced their support for this candidate, along with members of the bands Fun., Sonic Youth, the Foo Fighters, and Edward Sharpe & Magnetic Zeroes.

She told David Letterman in 2007 that it was the "best preparation for being in Washington that you could possibly have."
