Half of India without power as grid breaks down for second day

NBC News reports that half of India's 1.2 billion residents were without power in the second day of power grid failures in the populous Southeast Asian country.

NBC News reports that half of India's 1.2 billion residents were without power in the second day of power grid failures in the populous Southeast Asian country. Public transportation, hospitals, and office buildings were all impacted as the country struggled to keep up with energy demands. Temperatures are hovering in the 90s.
