Pastor and right-wing activist Kevin Swanson said on his radio show that buying Girl Scout cookies from the "wicked" organization promotes "lesbianism."

Pastor and right-wing activist Kevin Swanson urged his radio show listeners to refrain from purchasing Girl Scout cookies because the organization promotes "lesbianism."

“Please, I beg of you, stop buying Girl Scout cookies,” Swanson said during his Monday radio broadcast.

"I’d say you ought to say no to the Girl Scout cookies," Swanson told listeners. "I don’t want to support lesbianism, I don’t want to support Planned Parenthood and I don’t want to support abortion, and if that be the case I’m not buying Girl Scout cookies."

Swanson also called the Girl Scouts of the USA  "a wicked organization," that doesn't promote "godly womanhood."

"The vision of the girl scouts of America is antithetical to a biblical vision for womanhood," he said. "It’s antithetical to it."

The Girl Scouts' website states that the organization "does not have a relationship or partnership with Planned Parenthood," and that it will remain a "secular organization" that will not take a position on human sexuality, birth control, abortion.

Swanson later added in his radio broadcast that the Girl Scouts organization is creating a generation of independent women who support a “communist in the White House” and promote the “gay and lesbian agenda.”

His Generations Radio co-host, Pastor Dave Buehner, also said Monday that "where you spend your money does count" with Christianity and God's teachings.

Swanson said that if listeners continue to buy Girl Scout cookies, they should “take a big, fat, black magic marker” and “start marking out all of the references to the Girl Scouts of America on all the boxes.”
