Movie buffs and fans of the 44th president can finally get a glimpse of Hollywood's version of the Obamas.

The first on-set photo from "Southside With You," an upcoming romantic drama which recreates President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama's first date together in the Windy City, has been released.

The film, which stars Parker Sawyers and Tika Sumpter as the future POTUS and FLOTUS, is currently in production on location in Chicago. It's still unclear whether the film will include footage of the Baskin-Robbins where the Obamas’ first kiss has been commemorated with a plaque.

The first couple have both spoken candidly about their original romantic interlude, which included taking in a screening of Spike Lee's seminal 1989 film "Do the Right Thing."

“I took her to this new movie that everybody was talking about, directed by a guy that not that many people had heard of, but it was supposed to be pretty good,” Obama recalled during the film’s 25th anniversary celebration.

In an interview with author David Mendell for his book “Obama: From Promise to Power,” Michelle Obama admitted she was initially unimpressed by her future husband. “We had lunch, and he had this bad sport jacket and a cigarette dangling from his mouth, and I thought: ‘Oh, here you go. Here’s this good-looking, smooth-talking guy. I’ve been down this road before,’” she said.

Sumpter is also serving as one of the film's executive producers. Sawyers, an American actor based in Britain who is currently something of an unfamiliar face to audiences, will also have a supporting role in Oliver Stone's upcoming biopic about NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden.

“Southside With You” will reportedly take place over the course of one afternoon, in the same vein as the 1995 indie romance “Before Sunrise,” which starred Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy.

Richard Tanne, who also wrote the screenplay, will make his directorial debut with thefilm, which is being released next year by IM Global.

“Richard really captures the essence of that romantic connection between Barack and Michelle that is so evident in the way that they look at each other,” Tracey Bing, one of the film’s executive producers, told Deadline last December.
