Donald Trump takes the bait, rages at Bobby Jindal

Ask and ye shall receive. After delivering a speech designed entirely to bait Donald Trump, Bobby Jindal is getting exactly what he wanted.

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal is getting exactly what he wanted: A really angry Donald Trump.

After Jindal delivered a speech designed entirely to bait Trump, the Republican front-runner fired off a series of angry tweets Wednesday and Thursday. Trump first said he didn’t want to respond to Jindal because he barely registered in the polls — and then he did just that.

As Trump pointed out, Jindal is trailing badly in the polls and his campaign hopes this feud will give him a much-needed boost.

In a press call previewing the planned feud earlier this week, senior Jindal aide Curt Anderson told reporters “everything you do in a presidential campaign is an attempt to grab headlines, I don’t know what else you’d do.”

The campaign gleefully promoted the feud in email blasts to reporters throughout the day, and Jindal has jabbed back at Trump.
