Donald Trump: Democrats are ‘having fun’ while ‘the world is burning’

Updated

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is accusing Democrats of “having fun” as foreign policy crises are erupting around the globe.

Trump posted a video posted on his Instagram account Thursday showing a masked ISIS executioner and a scene from the deadly September 2012 attack at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.

The footage is interspersed with a photo showing a smiling President Obama in a golf cart and video of Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton dancing amid confetti with her husband, former President Bill Clinton.

The words “politicians are having fun on our dime while the world is burning” conclude the video before Trump’s campaign slogan is displayed. Trump tagged the video, which received more than 5,000 likes within an hour of being posted, with the caption “Not under my watch.”

Trump has previously said he has a “foolproof” plan to defeat ISIS, but added that he wouldn’t share it because “I don’t want the enemy to know what I’m doing.”

Despite coming under criticism for his big debate clash with Fox News moderator Megyn Kelly over how he talks about women, controversial remarks about undocumented immigrants and questioning Arizona Sen. John McCain’s status as a war hero, two new polls show the real estate mogul leading in the early voting states of New Hampshire and Iowa.
