Day 26: Activist mothers from yesterday to today

So far this week, we have focused on how mothers become activists, particularly surrounding gun violence. But mothers throughout history have been, and are, advocates for a wide variety of subjects.

Assignment: Today, we want you to share a story about a woman you know who has entered into activism through her identity as a mother. It could be a historical figure – or it could be you. Tell us about her and her work in the comments.
