In the msnbc original series ”Generation to Generation,” we take a side-by-side look at the work of civil rights leaders from the 1960s and their modern-day counterparts. This week, the series features social activists Rosa Clemente and Grace Lee Boggs.
Clemente ran as a Green Party candidate for vice president alongside former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney in the 2008 presidential election. She will be taking your questions. Born and raised in the New York City’s South Bronx neighborhood, Clemente has created workshops and lectures focused on hip-hop activism, the history of the Young Lords Party, and organizing to free U.S. political prisoners.
Join the msnbc community group and ask Clemente a question about her expansive career as a grassroots organizer, journalist, and entrepreneur. You can also tweet your question using #gentogen.
