Clinton, Rubio battle it out for best 404 page

Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is attempting to rebrand herself on the campaign trail as a humbler candidate for “everyday Americans.” She is now Clinton 2.0, and Clinton 2.0 knows how to have fun on a 404 error page.

The HillaryClinton.com 404 error page, which features a Clinton family throwback picture, had people quacking up on Twitter yesterday.

Marco Rubio, who officially announced he is running for president on Monday, got in the 404 game quickly, too. His is a customized football themed page. It may be Rubio’s generation choice for digital campaigning, but it’s typically not a best practice to deter people by first asking them to watch a video that’s over a minute before directing them where they can click so that they can then get to the email sign up, donation or volunteer page.
