Chris Christie on Sunday charged Hillary Clinton with being out of touch on the ISIS terror threat, saying that "she just wants to happy talk her way to the presidency."

The New Jersey governor, referring to Clinton's statement during Saturday night's Democratic debate that "we are finally where we need to be" on ISIS, invoked the recent attack in Paris and shooting in San Bernardino to blast the secretary of state's response.

"Mrs. Clinton is Mrs. happy talk," the New Jersey governor quipped on ABC's "This Week." "The fact is that’s not where we need to be."

“With dead bodies in Paris, dead bodies in San Bernardino and no plan from this administration with how to deal with it, we’re finally where we need to be?” Christie added. "She is the personification of this administration. Are you going to believe me or your lying eyes?"

Asked if Donald Trump were to get the Republican nomination would Christie be comfortable with him as commander-in-chief in a WWIII situation, the New Jersey governor flatly replied, "More comfortable than with Hillary Clinton, because she's the one who got us into a WWIII situation with Barack Obama."

Christie during last week's Republican debate said that the United States has been "betrayed by the leadership that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have provided to this country over the last number of years," adding that as a former federal prosecutor, he has "fought terrorists and won."
