"Stopped by the cops again wish me luck," read a tweet on Tuesday. According to Rock's Twitter feed, yesterday's stop was at least his third traffic stop this year.

The results of these alleged police interactions are unknown, but it is appears that seeing blue lights in the rear-view has become an unwelcome routine for the popular "Saturday Night Live" alum.

The "Top Five" star is famous for talking about the politics of race, both in his comedy and free time. In a 2000 episode of "The Chris Rock Show," Rock narrates a satirical instructional video for "people in the black community" called "How Not to get Your A** Kicked By The Police."

More recently, the 50-year-old comedian has been outspoken about the non-indictments of police officers in the cases of Eric Garner and Michael Brown, made headlines for an interview he gave on the state of race relations in America to New York Magazine and for calling Hollywood a "white industry" in a cover story for The Hollywood Reporter.

Last year, Rock got pulled over while driving with comedian Jerry Seinfeld during an episode of "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee."

"It'd be such a better episode if he pulled me to the side and beats the sh*t out of me, don't you think? Now here's the crazy thing: If you weren't here, I'd be scared. I'm famous, still black. Right now, I'm looking for my license right now," Rock said.
