Spotted: Bill Clinton takes a stroll in pink sneakers

Bill Clinton was spotted wearing some colorful kicks Monday during a stroll in Washington, D.C.

The former president was seen on the warm spring evening walking up Massachusetts Avenue, near the Naval Observatory, which is located near the Clintons' Washington home, according to NBC News' Andrew Rafferty. Clinton paused to take a photo with a couple on the street.

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton was campaigning in New Hampshire, a state that has long been friendly to the Clintons. At the campaign stop, Hillary Clinton laid out her economic message and criticized Republicans who want to privatize Social Security.

Monday wasn't the first time Bill Clinton has shown a penchant for flashy footwear. A few weeks ago in Miami, he was seen in a pair of bright red sneakers.
