As the United States continues to combat ISIS in Iraq and Syria, NBC News Chief Foreign Correspondent Richard Engel has been on the ground in Turkey near the Syrian border, reporting on ISIS's growth and the U.S.'s efforts to fight the terror group.

On Friday, Nov. 14 at 9 p.m. EST, msnbc will air "Richard Engel Reporting: The Battle Against ISIS," in which Engel will report from Turkey on the latest from inside the Syrian border town of Kobani, which ISIS is fighting to control.

"We decided to risk a trip into the besieged city to see for ourselves," Engel says in the video. "What we found was a city demolished but undefeated."
