Amy Schumer, Seth Rogen skewer campaign season with Super Bowl ad

"They say we're a nation divided. They say we can't agree on anything," Amy Schumer says in the spot that mocks the political ads flooding the airwaves.

Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen appeared in a Bud Light commercial aired during Super Bowl 50 as the faces of the "Bud Light Party."

The spot mocks the political ads that have been flooding the airwaves, especially for voters in early primary states like New Hampshire.

"They say we're a nation divided. They say we can't agree on anything," Schumer says.

"That's not true. We agree on a lot," Rogen responds.

"Like Paul Rudd. Everybody loves Paul Rudd!" says Schumer.

Surprise guests Rudd and Michael Pena round out the cast as Schumer and Rogen campaign across the country, with scenes at a factory, a rodeo, a Los Angeles Lakers game, and the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

Schumer has real-life political connections of her own, being the second cousin once removed of New York Sen. Chuck Schumer, the third-ranking Democrat in the Senate.

"Are you just quoting 'Independence Day'?" Schumer asks Rogen after a particularly inspiring bit in the Super Bowl commercial.

"Yeah," he says, as a rapt audience watches. Maybe a new tactic for the presidential candidates to consider?
