The National Review Online called on Newt Gingrich to exit the Republican presidential race and endorse Rick Santorum.The editors of the magazine said it would be a mistake for Republican voters to nominate someone with "such poor judgment and persistent unpopularity."They said Mr. Santorum had been "conducting himself rather impressively" after his recent victories in Colorado, Minnesota and Missouri. read more

This afternoon, President Obama acknowledged the mounting controversy resulting from his mandate that religiously-affiliated institutions had to cover contraceptives for their employees.
