 With the New Hampshire primary just over 6 weeks away, Newt Gingrich picked up a key endorsement in the state. In a front page editorial, the New Hampshire Union Leader puts its support behind the former House Speaker, citing his past accomplishments as evidence that he can lead the nation. In a sharp rebuke of Mitt Romney, the newspaper concedes that while Newt Gingrich may not be the perfect candidate, he’s willing to stand on principle.
