Top Talker: Michele Bachmann will launch Presidential Bid today

 Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann will formally kick off her campaign for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination today. Speaking in her birthplace of Waterloo, Iowa, Representative Bachmann is expected to emphasize her "hometown roots." Bachmann's Iowa announcement comes as a new Des Moines Register poll has her at the top of the list of GOP presidential contenders. The Congresswoman received support from 22% of likely Iowa caucus voters, just behind Mitt Romney's 23%. read more
