A so-called "polite" woman heckler who yelled at President Obama during his speech Thursday represented "what America is all about," he said.
"I hear you. I've got you. No, no, no, that's fine. We're OK," the president said after being heckled during a college affordability speech. "Can I just say that as hecklers go, that young lady was very polite. She was. She brought up an issue of importance, and that's part of what America is all about."
Two women were removed from the event, held at Henninger High School in Syracuse, N.Y., according to a tweet from NBC News' Shawna Thomas. One of the women held a sign that said: "Free Bradley Manning," the U.S. soldier convicted this week of the biggest breach of classified data in the country's history.

The president on Thursday began a two-day bus tour of lower-profile cities focusing on college affordability.
"We've been able to clear away the rubble of the financial crisis and start laying the foundation for a better economy," he said before being heckled.
Obama is rolling out a plan to tie the country's $150 billion of federal aid to the most affordable and successful colleges and universities.
He is expected to speak Friday at the State University of New York at Binghamton, and will end the trip at Lackawanna College in Scranton, Pa.
