Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain speaks, Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011 in Huntsville, Ala. Presidential candidate Herman Cain is full of confidence about his 2012 prospects. It's been weeks since he's set foot in first-voting Iowa or New Hampshire, yet he said Saturday he said expects to finish first or second in each state. He's also predicting victory in South Carolina, which will hold the South's first presidential contest in 2012. \"And then, look out,\" Cain said Saturday before plunging into a crowd of football tailgaters at Samford University, a Baptist-affiliated school in Alabama.

Herman Cain's presidential campaign is on the defensive this morning after a new Politico report alleges that at least 2 female employees complained of inappropriate behavior by Cain while he was head of the national restaurant association in the 1990s.  Among the allegations, Politico sources describe conversations Cain had with the women, filled with innuendo of sexually suggestive nature. The sources also mention Cain making physical gestures that made the women uncomfortable. Politico says the women received financial pay-outs to leave the association and agreed not to discuss their departures.  NBC News has not independently verified the Politico report.  The Cain campaign responded to what they call  "thinly sourced allegations".  In a statement, they said, "Fearing the message of Herman Cain who is shaking up the political landscape in Washington, Inside the Beltway media have begun to launch unsubstantiated personal attacks on Cain...Sadly, we've seen this movie played out before - a prominent Conservative targeted by liberals simply because they disagree with his politics."
