Vice President Biden officially kicked off the Obama-Biden 2012 campaign with a fiery speech against the GOP candidates. Should the re-election campaign focus its energy on Mitt Romney or will it divide and conquer the race's top players? We'll ask Meet the Press moderator David Gregory and NBC News Chief White House correspondent and Daily Rundown host Chuck Todd to give their take on what Biden and President Obama should say in their attacks.

But will the president's words matter anyway? We'll ask Washington Post columnist and msnbc contributor Ezra Klein, who explored the value of presidential speeches and their impact on approval polls in his latest piece for The New Yorker.

Dogster.com editor Maria Goodavage is out with a new book, Soldier Dogs: The Untold Story of America's Canine Heroes. According to Goodavage, there are 2,700 military dogs in service all over the world - and one of them helped the Navy SEALS team capture Osama bin Laden.

Happy Friday, folks. Hope you had a better week than Rod Blagojevich did. We'll talk about that too in the Cooler.
