It’s Day 3 of the health care hearings. The Supreme Court will listen to arguments on the idea of “severability.” Can the Affordable Care Act stand alone, if it severs its ties with the individual mandate? The Kudlow Report host Larry Kudlow is stopping by to give his take.

We’ll also ask former Senator Arlen Specter (D-PA) to weigh in on the monumental case and the 2012 GOP race. The former chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee was recently caught in the crossfire between Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum. In late February, Romney blasted Santorum for endorsing Specter, who voted for President Obama’s health reforms; a few weeks later, Santorum called his support for his fellow Pennsylvania senator a mistake. We’ll ask Specter if he’s still stinging from that backhand slap.

in between promoting his new book, Life Among Cannibals, and teaching at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, the 82-year-old also squeezed in time to do some comedy at Caroline’s in New York City on Monday. The man has jokes, people.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Col. Jack Jacobs (Ret.) will also be stopping by in our Hiring Our Heroes segment, in an effort to boost employment for veterans.

ESPN College Basketball Analyst Digger Phelps will wrap up the show with some Final Four talk and the progress made at John McDonogh High School, after we visited New Orleans more than 2 years ago.

Happy hump day.
